How to estimate the required number of panels and foil rolls
How many Renovaxe Panels will you need?
To estimate the exact number of panels you will need for the panelling, follow the algorithm below.
Measure the height and length of the wall or other surface to which you intend to affix the panels.
Calculate the surface area by multiplying the height by the length.
Example: The wall in question measures three metres in height and four metres in length. The surface area is then calculated as follows: 3 m x 4 m = 12 m².
Calculate the area of one panel by multiplying its width by its length.
Beforehand, convert the figures into metres. Example: the size of the «White Decor» panel is 700*700 mm. In metres it is 0,7*0,7 m. The surface area of the panel is calculated as follows: 0,7 m x 0,7 m = 0,49 m².
Divide the surface area by the area of one panel.
Example: 12 m² : 0,49 m² ≈ 24,5. Round the fractional number to a whole number — 25. In total, you will need 25 of these panels to cover a 12 m² wall.
This will provide you with the most accurate estimate of the number of self-adhesive panels required.
How many rolls of Renovaxe Foil Protection will you need?
To calculate the exact number of rolls you will need, follow the algorithm below.
Measure the width and length of the surface to which you intend to adhere the film.
Calculate the surface area by multiplying the width by the length.
Example: The width of the surface is 3 metres and the length is 4 metres. The surface area is then calculated as follows: 3 m x 4 m = 12 m².
Calculate the area of one roll by multiplying its width by its length. Beforehand, convert the figures into metres.
Example: a roll is 30*500 cm. In metres, it is 0,3*5 m. The surface area of the panel is then calculated as follows: 0,3 metres x 5 metres = 1,5 m².
Divide the surface area by the area of a single roll.
Example: 12 m² : 1,5 m² = 8. If you get a fractional number, round it up to a whole number. In total, you will need 8 rolls to cover a surface area of 12 m²
This enables you to calculate the precise number of rolls of protective film required.
